Avenues area businesses who donate to the Opportunity Drawing have their business recognized at the booth during the Fair, in our newsletter and during the drawings.

The Street Fair is the annual fundraiser for the Greater Avenues Community Council.    Funds raised after all Street Fair expenses are covered are used for projects that benefit the Greater Avenues and are consistent with the historic characteristics of the neighborhood. Projects within the last year included the Popperton Plots community garden and the Avenues Community Choir. Previous projects include the Avenues Water-Wise Demonstration Garden and Pergola on 11th Avenue at Terrace Hills. 

The Greater Avenues Community Council is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Your donation is tax deductible as a charitable contribution to the extent allowed by IRS regulations.
