Be a Sponsor

Every year we count on the generous support of our Corporate Sponsors. Why do we need support?  Each year, the Fair costs nearly $30,000 to host, which covers equipment rentals, security, permits, printing of banners, posters and flyers, advertising, water, and supplies.  It is quite the undertaking!

Our first level of sponsorship is Corporate Donor level.  Sponsors who contribute a minimum of $500 cash or in-kind will receive a complimentary booth at the Street Fair and will have their logos and web links displayed on our advertising and promotional materials.

Our next level of sponsorship is to adopt one of our key activity areas: The East Stage, the West Stage, the Children’s Activity Area, and the People’s Art Gallery. Sponsors for these areas will have their logo displayed at that location on the day of the Fair, in addition to having their logos on the advertising and promotional materials. Sponsorship at this level is a cash donation of minimum $1,000.

The Street Fair is the annual fundraiser for the Greater Avenues Community Council. Any funds left after covering the expenses of the Fair are used for projects that benefit the Greater Avenues as a whole, and are consistent with the historic characteristics of the neighborhood. Projects within the last year include improvements at the Popperton Plots community garden, the Avenues Athletic Association which conducts low cost leagues in coed volleyball, coed soccer, mens basketball, and pickleball tournaments.  Additional projects supported by Street Fair proceeds are the annual Memory Grove Cleanup, the Avenues Community Choir, and the first-ever Avenues Community Float in the 2018 Days of '47 Parade!  Previous projects include the 11th Avenue at Terrace Hills Water-Wise Demonstration Garden and Pergola.

The Greater Avenues Community Council is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our EIN is 55-0803051. Your donation is tax deductible as a charitable contribution to the extent allowed by IRS regulations.
